Chloe Warren

Loyola University School of Law, Class of 2024

Chloe Warren is a 3L at Loyola University School of Law and joins us this summer as an Associate. Chloe comes to us with a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and practical experience in health equity through a vaccine distribution program in Cook County, Illinois during the pandemic. She’s looking forward to learning more about merging the law and healthcare into a career to positively impact the lives of others.

Chloe, what are you most excited to learn while working for NGL?

I am eager to learn more about virtual healthcare management, and telehealth more broadly. In addition, I am curious about how innovation in the healthcare and legal fields intersect to create better access to care for both individuals and for population health as a whole. I am passionate about learning how I can best apply legal skills to help the most stakeholders in the healthcare space.

What do you see as the most exciting innovation in healthcare right now?

Innovations that I find particularly intriguing right now include Healthcare Data and Predictive Analytics, and Virtual Care Management. Both of these two areas are instrumental in preventing and mitigating chronic diseases. Because chronic diseases are both a leading cause of death and extremely costly, they are a high yield area to focus on in improving healthcare in the United States.

What social causes are you most passionate about?

I’m most passionate about health equity, environmental justice, and the social determinants of health.

Anything else you want people to know about you?

I cannot wait to get started as a Summer Associate for Nixon Gwilt Law. I am currently a rising 3L at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. After graduating from Boston University in 2016, I worked at the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare research, technology and consulting firm, based in Washington, DC. Two years later, I moved to New York City for my Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University. There, I began to learn the ways that I could merge a career in healthcare with one in law. When the pandemic hit, I worked with Partners in Health to use a health equity approach for distributing vaccines in Cook County, Illinois. The next fall, I started law school in Chicago, Illinois, and later pursued a summer internship with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.

Welcome to the team, Chloe!
